Matt Pierce has been serving the Bloomington community for over three decades. Matt graduated from Indiana University Bloomington with a B.A. in Telecommunications and Political Science, and a J.D. He has worked in local, state, and federal government positions until his election to the Indiana State House of Representatives for District 61  in 2002. His previous service includes working as a member of the Bloomington City Council in 1995, as principal clerk of the Indiana House from 1996-1998, and Chief of Staff to US Representative Baron Hill (9th District IN).  Matt Pierce has proven leadership skills and experience in the statehouse and will continue to be a leading voice for Bloomington area residents.
